Hi im currently working on a Movie project called Hall of The Mountain Kings produced by Sean Rowe. Its a 2d animated movie with 3D backgrounds in a epic fantasy world.

Its time for another special image, and this weeks winner is Julie Dillon (http://jdillon.net/)
The emotion is so strong in this one. The simple yet effective forms / designs of all the monsters and creatures makes the image even more creepy. My favourite part of the image is where the cat sits and actually can see all this going on, and yet be so calm.
This one started out as a series of thumbnails for a project about alice in wonderland, but eventually i liked this one and took it out from the project and made it something of my own.
Its a fast speedpainting who took about 30 min thumbnailing and 1h sketching.
Heath Ledger as the Joker in The dark knight, the best villain ive ever seen on screen. I cant stress enough how important heaths preformance was for this Movie.

Hi everyone, time for a couple more images. These started out as speedpaintings with some refinements.
Every week I will select a random artist artwork for a short review and try to honor the artwork as much as possible.

Excellent perspective with a very strong feeling of foreshortning. The simple coloring with an effect of being painted with markers helps the concept really feel like a traditional concept piece. The simple yet effective brushstrokes makes the illusion of more details then there really are.
